Valorant has been around for over a year now, and we have been observing the scene carefully and waiting for the right moment. The right moment has come and we are happy to announce our VALORANT roster.
The team has a common past where they were supposed to sign in one of the biggest orgs in Nordic. In the end they failed to sign and were forced to split up since everyone got individual offers from left and right. Now they are determined to succeed together.
– At first I was supposed to find a Valorant team for KOVA. Then suddenly I find myself in a situation where I am in the team myself without organization, Jesse “JESMUND” Terävä, Captain of the Valorant team.
– I have been thinking a lot of how good we could have been if we just stuck together. Now when there was an opportunity I felt it was an easy choice for me to make a comeback with this lineup, Hampus “Supmah” Svensson.
Jesse “JESMUND” Terävä, Jani “shéd” Marjanen, Benjamin “vicious” Guilotte, Hampus “Supmah” Svensson and Alend “Ale” Khalaf will be starring our brand new roster. The first challenge they face under the name of KOVA is ICEBOX tournament qualifiers which start on October 19th.
– If we want to be in esports, we have to embrace change. Constant evolving creates new possibilities to thrive and be successful. Even though we have a strong backbone in Finnish esports scene, with this next move we are taking more steps towards international competition, Timo Tarvainen, General Manager.
– I’m extremely excited we now have an international roster in Valorant consisting some of the top dogs in both Finland and Sweden. Can’t wait to see these guys perform on the server, Timo Tarvainen, GM.
At the same time we are publishing our new brand look. Brand assets can be found HERE (Google Drive).
